During his meeting on Friday with Brazilian Ambassador to Viet Nam Marco Farani, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh informed about his city’s potential, advantages and development orientation in the coming time.

He also expressed his hope that the bilateral cooperation with Brazilian localities would be enhanced in the time to come.

For his part, Brazilian Ambassador to Viet Nam Marco Farani thanked the city leader for his warm and respectful welcome. He also said that he was very impressed by Da Nang’s rapid growth in recent years, especially the development of tourism infrastructure.

The Brazilian guest highly praised Da Nang for the successful organisation of the Da Nang International Fireworks Festival 2023, attracting a large number of domestic and international tourists to the city. This has promoted and introduced the image of the central coastal city to international friends.

He wished to have the opportunity to cooperate with Da Nang in tourism and sports.

He remarked 2024 will celebrate the 35^th founding anniversary of the diplomatic ties between Viet Nam and Brazil. Therefore, he hoped that the two countries will enhance exchange activities, contributing to strengthening their friendship and cooperation relationship in the time ahead.
