Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang hosted a reception on Tuesday for leaders of the State Audit Institutions of Viet Nam, Laos and Cambodia.

During the meeting with his guest, Secretary Quang highly appreciated positive results achieved at the 10^th Tripartite Meeting between the Supreme Audit Institutions of Cambodia, Laos and Viet Nam held in central city of Da Nang on August 29.

He added that these results contributed to strengthening the cooperative relationships between the audit institutions and deepening of the friendly relationship between the three countries.

The city leader remarked the audit reports played a very important role for the locality. Over the past time, the city has worked closely with the State Audit of Viet Nam Region III in local audit work to help the State Audit of Viet Nam verify the correctness and truthfulness of information about public finance and property, thereby taking timely measures to improve the efficiency of financial - budget management and public assets and prevent corruption and waste in the locality.

On the basis of the special friendship cooperation relationship between Viet Nam - Laos, and Viet Nam - Cambodia, Da Nang is always focusing on developing cooperation relations with Laotian and Cambodian localities and partners. He expressed his belief that the good friendship between the three countries will be forever green and sustainable.

Talking at the meeting, Auditor General of the Cambodia's State Audit Institution Som Kim Suor thanked the city leader for the warm welcome. He also affirmed that this conference provided the good opportunity for the state audit agencies to exchange valuable experience, hereby contributing to improving audit professional capacity and further promoting the friendly relationship between the three countries.

President of the State Audit Institution of Laos Viengthavisone Thephachanh highlighted the practicality of contents discussed by the three agencies at this conference, contributing to enhancing transparency and publicity in using public property and state capital of each country effectively.
