On Wednesday, Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang visited and sent congratulations to the city leaders on the occasion of the 78^th anniversary of the National Day (September 2).

The Lao visitor highly appreciated the great and historically significant achievements of the Party, State and people of Viet Nam in the cause of national construction and defense over the past 78 years.

In that general context, Da Nang has developed constantly to become an economic and tourist center, and a livable city of Viet Nam. He voiced his belief that the city would grow stronger in the coming time.

On behalf of the Party, government and people of Da Nang, municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang thanked Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang and the leaders of the south central provinces of Laos for their special love and attention to the Party, State, people of Viet Nam and Da Nang.

Mr. Quang wished that the traditional friendship and special solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos, and between south central provinces of Laos and Da Nang, will be forever green and forever sustainable.
