On Thursday, the Former People's Public Security Association of Son Tra District held its first congress for the 2023-2028 term.

According to recent reports at the congress, in recent times, the Retired Police Clubs at district and ward levels have actively got involved in locally launched activities, such as building a cultural and civilised urban lifestyle in residential areas, the movement for all people to protect national security, and sensitising and educating law violators.

For the 2023-2028 term, the Son Tra District Former People's Public Security Association will continue preventing and fighting crime, protecting security and order, and implementing a movement of all people to protect national security.

Also at the event, 17 members of the Executive Board of the Son Tra District Former People's Public Security Association in the 2023-2028 term were elected. Colonel Nguyen Hung Thinh was elected Chairman of the Association.
