Government's delegation works with Da Nang
During his meeting on Wednesday with Da Nang’s leaders, Politburo member and Minister of Public Security General To Lam highly lauded the city for its remarkable achievements last year and the first 2 months of 2024.

Aside from the achieved results, the city also pointed out a number of difficulties, shortcomings, limitations and problems encountered. It promptly had recommendations and proposals to promote its socio-economic development in the coming time, especially in 2024, Minister To Lam emphasised.
General To Lam informed that the delegation of the central government had two working sessions in the city. Accordingly, 19 out of the 32 recommendations of Da Nang were thoroughly resolved by ministries and branches. The remaining 13 have not yet had final results and Da Nang continued to propose a thorough solution in the near future.
Reporting at the meeting, Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh said that the city has chosen the theme of 2024 as the year ‘Promoting administrative reform, strengthening discipline, continuing to open up investment resources, promoting economic growth and ensuring social welfare’ in a bid to create a new driving force to overcome existing limitations and difficulties.
During the Tet holiday, Da Nang welcomed more than 400,000 visitors and earned nearly VND1,600 billion in revenue. This is a bright spot of the city in early 2024.
The city has issued many social security policies that are strongly supported by public opinion.
The political security situation, social order and safety in the city are guaranteed and especially traffic order is maintained. The city has solved many cases and received letters of praise from the Ministry of Public Security and the Minister of Public Security.
Currently, the city is focusing on promoting investment attraction and removing difficulties for nearly 40 projects to unlock nearly VND30,000 billion that will be deployed in 2024 and 2025.
