Da Nang expands cooperation with French localities and businesses
As part of their ongoing business trip to Europe, a group of Da Nang officials, led by People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh, visited France from May 27 - 29.

The Da Nang delegation paid a visit to the Le Havre Port to discuss cooperative opportunities in port management, smart port operation, and green energy ports. The Le Havre Port is the second-largest port in France and the fifth- largest port in Europe.
Also, the delegation had a meeting with Mayor of Le Havre City Edouard Philippe and Deputy Mayor in charge of International Cooperation Caroline Leclercq. The two sides discussed cooperation and investment opportunities in potential fields, as well as the establishment of their friendly relations in the future.

When working with the Ubisoft Group, Chairman Le Trung Chinh thanked the group's leaders for setting up an office in Da Nang and actively supporting and promoting Da Nang as an attractive investment destination through game products.
He also discussed investment expansion opportunities in Da Nang with Mr. Emmanuel Martin, Vice President of Ubisoft Group.

Ubisoft is one of the world’s four leading video game developers with more than 45 game development studios in 17 countries, and subsidiaries in 28 countries.
The group's office in Da Nang has 84 employees who are implementing 3 video game programming projects with millions of participants globally.
On May 29, in Paris, the Da Nang visitors had a working session with the Vietnamese Business Association in France. A representative of the delegation briefed the hosts on the city's socio-economic development situation, asking for support from the Association in helping the city connect and approach French businesses in the near future.
