Da Nang official extends congratulations on Buddha's 2568th birthday
Head of the Da Nang Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee Le Van Trung, on Monday, visited and congratulated the Executive Board of the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha in Da Nang on the occasion of Buddha's 2568th birthday in 2024.

He was accompanied by Permanent Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Ho Ky Minh, Vice Chairwoman of the People's Council Nguyen Thi Anh Thi, and leaders of some relevant departments and agencies.
On behalf of the city's leaders, Mr. Le Van Trung congratulated and sent wishes of health, happiness and peace to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers citywide on their special day.
He also highly appreciated the Executive Board of the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha in Da Nang for greatly contributing to the city’s socio-economic development, and well implementing local Party and government’s guidelines.
The city official looked forward to continuing to receive support from Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers to join efforts with the city to build great national unity, strengthen consensus and unity in society, and promote good cultural and moral values and resources of religions in service of national development.
Most Venerable Thich Tu Nghiem, Head of the Executive Committee of the Viet Nam Buddhist Sangha in Da Nang, thanked the city's leaders for their visit and congratulations on the occasion of the Buddha's 2568th birthday as well as their active support for the local Buddhism in recent times.
At the same time, he affirmed that the city's monks, nuns, and Buddhists will always join hands with the authorities at all levels to ensure social security, promote the local economic development, and strictly implement the Party and government’s guidelines.
