At the meeting, Mrs. Le Thi My Hanh informed her Chinese guests about the city’s socio-economic situation; and its strategic development orientation until 2030 with a vision to 2045.

She, at the same time, remarked that the central and municipal governments have recently focused on promoting Party building and rectification; and preventing and combating corruption and negativity.

According to Chairwoman Hanh, the Parties and States of Viet Nam and China were similar in terms of political institutions. She, therefore, stressed the need for the Da Nang and Yunnan Province to strengthen cooperation and share experiences in Party building work; inspection, supervision and enforcement of Party discipline; and prevention and combat of corruption and negativity.

In addition, she suggested that the two sides strengthen cooperation activities in tourism, and exchange tourist sources through travel companies.

Da Nang and Kunming City, Yunnan Province, China, have established friendly relations since 2015. In recent years, the two localities have facilitated the regular exchange of delegations and meetings at all levels.

Mrs. Hanh hoped that the two sides strengthen people-to-people, cultural, sports and educational exchanges, contributing to promoting cooperation relations between Da Nang and Chinese localities effectively and practically.

Chairman of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee's Commission for Discipline Inspection thanked the leaders of the Da Nang Party Committee for the respectful welcome and expressed his impression on the city’s rapid growth.

He revealed that Yunnan Province planned to organize many professional training classes for cadres involving Party building work, and the prevention and combat of corruption and negativity.

He hoped that Da Nang will send its officials to participate in the training classes so that the two sides will have favourable conditions to exchange experiences in Party's inspection, supervision and discipline work.

Based on the relationship between the two Parties and the two States, he believed that the two localities will increasingly tighten their friendly relationships, thereby deepening and elevating the China-Viet Nam comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership and bringing practical benefits to the people of both countries.
