She added that, the National Assembly’s deputies passed a Resolution to organise an urban administration model and pilot several specific mechanisms to develop Da Nang two days ago. Accordingly, the city is allowed to establish a free trade zone, and attract investment in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, communications, and science and technology management and innovation.

She affirmed that this was an important driving force, facilitating the city to develop rapidly and become one of the major socio-economic centres of the country by 2030.

Mrs. Thi expressed his delight at the relatively stable growth of Armenia, especially low inflation, in recent years.

Noting that cooperation between Da Nang and Armenia was still modest compared to their potential, the city’s female official asked the Ambassador to call on more investors from his country to survey the investment environment and look for business possibilities in the city in such spheres as microchips, semiconductors, information technology, and hi-tech industry.

For his part, Ambassador of Armenia to Viet Nam Suren Baghdasaryan thanked the city leader for the respectful welcome. He pledged to promote development cooperation with Da Nang in the abovementioned fields in the time to come.

The Ambassador asked for help from municipal authorities to support and accompany Armenia in promoting cooperative relations with Da Nang in particular, and Viet Nam in general.
