Da Nang, central Laos strengthen court cooperation
Hosting a reception on Wednesday for a delegation from the People's Court of central Laos in Da Nang, Chairman of the municipal People’s Committee Le Trung Chinh congratulated the successful working session between the High People’s Court in the city and People’s Court of central Laos on the same day.

He voiced his hope that cooperative and experience sharing activities in court work between the two sides will be further enhanced, thereby contributing to bolstering the comprehensive collaboration between the two Parties, states and peoples.
The city leader expressed his delight at fruitful results from cooperation programmes with the five south-central provinces of Laos over the past years. The majority of the programmes have been focusing on building and upgrading schools, public works and Vietnamese language teaching centers; providing scholarships for Lao students studying at the Da Nang University; sending Vietnamese teachers to work at Vietnamese language teaching centers in Laotian provinces; and receiving Lao officials to practice and learn from experience in Da Nang.

Chairman Chinh affirmed that the Party, government and people of Da Nang always valued and cultivated the traditional friendship and cooperation between Da Nang and the south central provinces of Laos.
For his part, Chief Justice of the People’s Court of central Laos Phom Su Van Philachan expressed his impression on the socio-economic development and synchronous infrastructure system of Da Nang, especially green, clean, beautiful and safe tourism environment. He also took opportunity to thank the city’s leaders for supporting five southern and central provinces over the past years.
He also spoke highly of the achievements that the High People’s Court in Da Nang has carved out over the past time, particularly the building of e-court and arrangement of online trial.
He said he hopes that Da Nang and the five Lao provinces will continue promoting cooperation and development for further success in the coming time.
