US supports Da Nang in law enforcement, hi-tech crime fighting
The Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) at the US Department of State will share programmes on enhancing capacity in hi-tech crime fighting and law enforcement with Da Nang.

Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for INL Shelby Smith-Wilson made the statement when meeting with Vice Chairman of municipal People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong in the city on Thursday.
She also pledged to do her utmost to call on more US businesses to visit and learn investment environment in Da Nang in the coming time.
For his part, Vice Chairman Cuong informed his guest on a number of friendship and cooperation activities between Da Nang and US localities, affirming that all contributed to fostering the bilateral ties between the U.S and Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.
The city official added that, aside from the economy, Da Nang has been paying attention to promoting the development of culture, education, healthcare, and social welfare, especially semiconductor and artificial intelligence (AI). He, therefore, voiced his hope that Da Nang will become an attractive destination for US investors in the near future.
