80 million USD for improving health care services in mountainous areas

A seminar entitled “The Plans for the Development of Ethnic Minority and Gender Equality” took place in Da Nang on Thursday. The event saw the participation of medical workers from 8 cities and provinces in the southern central coastal region.
The event revealed that 80 million USD would be spent on improving the quality of health care services in mountainous areas nationwide.
The participants were introduced to the national laws on gender equality and other issues relating to health care services for ethnic minority people, as well as other related knowledge. They were also instructed how to formulate plans for promoting gender equality as well as improving health care services for ethnic minority people.
