Although Da Nang’s Dragon Bridge was inaugurated on 29 March, the remaining works of the project have not yet been completed. This has negatively affected the aesthetics of the bridge.

On 1 June local authorities instructed the relevant agencies to complete the construction of the bridge’s approach on its eastern side as soon as possible.  The Management Board of the Dragon Bridge project and construction units are also asked to speed up tree planting and decoration at the 2 bridge approaches, clean up the pedestrian walkways, and polish the railings.

The Deputy Director of the Management Board, Mr Do Xuan Tien, said that the remaining works of the project are scheduled to be completed by 30 June.  He added that his unit is coordinating with local relevant agencies to regularly monitor, increase checks, and deal with parking chaos on the bridge in the evening in order to ensure traffic order and safety.
