This year’s event saw the participation of 90 of the city’s teenagers aged from 12 to 18, and they will take a military training course at Regiment 971 from 2 - 16 June. The 14-day course will help to educate the participants about patriotism and the heroic traditions of the Viet Nam People’s Army. In addition, they will attend a training course on military services and life skills, as well as other soft skills in human behaviour, group work, first-aid and other attractive activities.
Apart from the above-mentioned activities, the trainees will have a chance to visit the city-based Air Force Division 372 and the warship management units of Naval Zone 3. As part of the “Hoa Nhap” (Integration) programme, the teenagers will live with local families in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Bac Commune.
