At a working session on Thursday with local relevant agencies, the Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Nguyen Ngoc Tuan, instructed the Department of Natural Resources and the Environment to temporarily close 9 of the 29 public toilets in the city due to their detrimental effect on the local urban landscape.

These toilets are located at Nguyen Van Linh gas station, Thac Gian-Vinh Trung lakeside, Ong Ich Khiem park, Xuan Dieu pumping station, Lotte Mart, 2 September Peace Monument, and the intersections of Nguyen The Loc and Tran Hung Dao, Nguyen Cong Tru and Tran Hung Dao, and Hoang Sa and Le Duc Tho streets.
