Co-organised by the “Red Journey - Connecting Vietnamese Bloodline” national campaign and the Da Nang Red Cross Association, a blood donation campaign entitled “Trai Tim Song Han” (The Heart of the Han River) took place in the city on Wednesday.

During the event, a total of 1,249 units of blood were collected from about 1,700 local donors, who included Red Cross Association members, employees of the city’s organisations and agencies, and local residents.

On the same day, the Red Journey members visited the city’s Cancer Hospital and gave 50 gifts, valued at 500,000 VND each, to its patients.
