During his meeting last Friday with the leaders of Da Nang’s relevant agencies and departments, the municipal People’s Committee Chairman, Mr Van Huu Chien, urged them all to speed up the construction of key local projects.  He mentioned in particular the city’s Administrative Centre and the Hi-tech and dedicated IT parks.

The city leader also asked the Department of Construction to work closely with relevant units to check any delayed or unfeasible projects which are adversely affecting local residents’ lives and the environment.  In addition, special attention should be paid to dealing with local flooding spots during the upcoming rain season.

During the remaining months of this year, the local relevant agencies are being required to quickly implement resolutions which were passed at the 7th session of the municipal People's Council . 

In addition, top priority will be given to the collection of the city’s budget, with a particular focus on domestic taxes and land-use fee debts sources. 

Before the end of this year, the city will strive to complete the relocation of  local families who handed over their land before 2011.
