Between January and June, the Da Nang Association of Agent Orange (AO) Victims and its chapters across the city appealed to donors to give about 8,000 gifts, totalling over 11.5 billion VND, for local AO victims.

These figures were released at Tuesday’s meeting of the association which reviewed its performance over the past 6 months, and identified its tasks for the remaining months of the year.

Over the last 6 months of this year, the focus will be on appealing for even more donations from domestic and foreign individuals, businesses and organisations to help local AO-affected children.

In addition, special attention will be paid to promoting international cooperation, and honouring donors for the generosity and support they have given to local AO victims, as well as organising photo exhibitions.
