On Tuesday, the Japanese Association for Lovers of Viet Nam  gave scholarships totalling 9 million VND to 6 AO-affected children from Da Nang.  Each received between 1 and 2.3 million VND.  In addition, the association donated 40kg of rice, valued at 3.2 million VND, to their families.

This annual Japanese scholarship programme aims to help poor local AO-affected children and it has been implemented in the city for the last 4 years.

By the end of this year , 2 more local AO-affected pupils, who achieve good study results at their schools, will also enjoy the benefits from this programme.
