A seminar entitled “Promoting Da Nang and Can Tho Bilateral Tourism Cooperation and the Opening of Direct Flights between the Two Localities ” recently took place in Da Nang.  It was part of Can Tho’s famtrip programme to survey popular tourist attractions in Da Nang and other localities in the central region, which took place between 22 and 25 August.

Co-organised by the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang and Can Tho, the event saw the participation of about 120 tourism businesses from the 2 cities.

The seminar provided an opportunity for the participants to learn about the tourism potentials of the 2 localities, as well as to coordinate closely to open new tours that link the central provinces with the Mekong Delta.  In addition, the event will have helped to accelerate the opening of Da Nang - Can Tho direct flights in the near future.
