French students visit local AO victims
A group of French volunteer students recently visited Da Nang’s care centres for Agent Orange (AO) victims, and also affected people and their families in Hoa Vang District. This is the first time that they have worked in the city, and they intend to give even more support to local victims in the near future.
During their stay in Da Nang, the French guests donated a cow worth 10 million VND to Mr Tan Dong’s family in Tuy Loan Village, Hoa Phong Commune, Hoa Vang District. Currently, his family is very poor and he has 2 AO-affected children.
In addition, the French students visited the photo exhibition entitled “The Effects of Agent Orange - Conscience and Justice” to learn more about Vietnamese victims. The exhibition is at the Museum of Da Nang until 12 August.
