At 11.30am on Saturday, two passenger coaches with number plates BKS 16L-0635 and 16L-1549 arrived in Da Nang from Hai Phong carrying about 100 male and female football fans.  The fans were here to cheer for Vicem Hai Phong in their match on Sunday with SHB Da Nang.

The fans were screaming loudly and causing public disorder and chaos by throwing flares onto the streets as their coaches were travelling along Ton Duc Thang Street.

As a result, the Da Nang Rapid Response Unit 113 chased and stopped the vehicles near the Hue T-junction.  However, the fans continued screaming out and being un-cooperative with the local police force.  Many curious passers-by stopped and watched, causing congestion in the area.

The case is under further investigation by the police in Cam Le District’s Hoa An Ward.
