Rapid changes on south-eastern side of the city
Thanks to the 2,700 ha Dien Nam-Dien Ngoc new urban planning project, which was approved by the Prime Minister in 1999, the south-eastern side of Da Nang has witnessed remarkable changes in its infrastructure in recent years, as well as significant improvements to the living standards of the local residents.
The new urban area is now home to 52 projects, including healthcare and trading services and housing for low-income earners.

The past 2 years have witnessed a boom in construction projects in Ngu Hanh Son and Cam Le districts, and also Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Phuoc Commune. A new road has been constructed linking Tran Dai Nghia and DT 607 streets, Vo Chi Cong Street, and a ring road on the south side of the city.
In addition, the American Pacific University and the Pegasus International College of Singapore’s Kinderworld Education Group are under construction.
Moreover, a number of mini football fields with artificial grass, a trading area and commercial centres are also under construction. In addition, many medical establishments and cultural centres, resettlement areas and other services are mushrooming. This is all evidence of the rapid changes in the new urban area of the city.
