Improving the tourist experience at Marble Mountains
The Da Nang Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, along with the Ngu Hanh Son District People's Committee and the Management Board of the Marble Mountains Tourist Area, recently discussed ways to restore social order and security as well as improve the tourist experience at this local popular attraction.
In the immediate future, the district authorities will work closely with relevant agencies to stop the harassment of tourists as well as to deal with illegal vending and any violations of tourism’s cultural and civilised lifestyle. In addition, souvenir shops at the site will be required to display the prices of their hand-made stone products, and sell them at the prices displayed.
Special attention will also be paid to raising public awareness about the proper use and management of the streets and pavements to ensure traffic order and safety, and to improve the landscape around the site.
