Many districts across Da Nang are suffering from severe flooding, landslides and damage to property as a result of the recent storm.

The storm left one person missing, and caused torrential flooding and about 680 million VND in property damage in Hoa Vang District.

18-year-old Nguyen Dinh Duong from Hoa Tien Commune slipped and was swept away by the fast-flowing floodwaters as he was trying to drive his cows across a small stream in the Cau Da (Stone Bridge) area.  As of now, his body has yet to be found, and the local authorities have given financial assistance amounting to 4.5 million VND to his family.
