Dangerous weather in the East Sea
Published: October 03, 2013
According to the Central Centre for Hydro-Meteorological Forecasting, a dangerous weather system has formed in the East Sea due to a low pressure area embedded along the inter-tropical convergence zone. The weather system is currently positioned at about latitude 13°5’N and longitude 111°5’E.
Due to the effects of the weather system, the coastal areas in Da Nang and elsewhere in the middle part of the central region are experiencing north-easterly winds at level 6/7, rough seas and thunderstorms plus occasional whirlwinds.
