On Tuesday, Da Nang Police said that 7 luxury cars, worth about 30 billion VND in total and including famous brand names like Bentley, BMW and Lexus, were temporarily seized due to them being involved in tax evasion. 

According to initial investigations, the cars were imported into Viet Nam by foreigners and diplomats, and then their ownerships were transferred illegally.  Next, they were registered with fake registration plates and documents. 

The total value of the tax evasion is estimated at over 10 billion VND.  Investigations into the cases are continuing.
