On Sunday, following a recommendation from the Hoc Mai (Forever Learning) Foundation of Australia’s University of Sydney, the Queensland Lions Clubs presented medical equipment worth over 2 billion VND, to the Da Nang Maternity and Paediatrics Hospital.

The Hoc Mai Foundation has been actively involved in appeals for donations from international charity organisations to help the hospital.  In addition, it assisted in funding the training of 3 of the hospital’s doctors in Australia.
