In the afternoon of the same day, representatives from the city’s branch of the Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam (Vietcombank) gave 1.5 million VND in cash to each of 33 families living in the hardest-hit areas of Ngu Hanh Son District.  The donated money was raised from the bank's staff members.

In addition, the Son Tra District Red Cross chapter recently presented 1.5 million VND each to 40 affected families in the district.  Furthermore, the Viet Nam Red Cross Society gave boxes of household appliances to 25 affected families living in difficult circumstances in this district.
