Over last weekend, a group from the Ho Chi Minh City authorities led by the municipal Deputy Party Secretary, Mr Nguyen Van Dua, visited 400 families in Cam Le and Hoa Vang districts who had been badly affected by the recent storm.  They gave gifts of food and cash, each valued at 800,000 VND.

During the same period, the city’s Youth Union coordinated with the Ho Chi Minh Youth Union and the Thanh Nien (Youth) Newspaper.  They presented gifts totalling 400 million VND to 629 local victims to help them overcome their difficulties after the storm.   

On Sunday morning, another delegation from the Thanh Hoa authorities visited the city to donate 400 million VND to local disaster victims.
