Ms No’s family is living in difficult circumstances. She is a single woman who lives with her mother, 77-year-old Ha Thi Mang, and her brother’s family in a small house. She used to work as a hodwoman, but she left her job because she broke her leg in an accident at a construction site. Since then, she has earned her living by washing dishes at some local restaurants.
In late November, she was diagnosed with terminal liver cancer, and now she is unable to walk by herself.
Her brother, Mr Do Van Luu, said that he has 2 school-age children and his wife is unemployed. He added that he earns little money from his work and cannot afford to care for his 6 family members.
Ms No is desperately in need of financial assistance. Donations can be sent to the Da Nang Newspaper, 42 Tran Phu Street, Da Nang (Phone: 0511 3812341 and 0905832222) or to Ms No’s address 61 Bui Huu Nghia Street, 17A Group, Phuoc My Ward, Son Tra District (Phone: 0511 3942442), or please contact Mrs Lan, Ms No’s sister-in-law, on 01262633149.
