Following recent approval from the Da Nang authorities, the Spring Flower Street will take place from 27 January to 6 February.  These dates are the 27^th of the 12^th lunar month to the 7^th of the first lunar month.  The displays will be mounted along Bach Dang from in front of the municipal People’s Committee headquarters down to the Rong (Dragon) Bridge. 

There will be numerous rattan baskets filled with different kinds of flowers, and they will be sourced mainly from Hoa Vang District.  They will feature stylised floral decorations of countryside landscapes, community activities, and traditional aspects of the Vietnamese Tet Festival.

In addition, some of the city’s major intersections will be decorated with flowers.

An LED lighting system will be installed from in front of the municipal People's Committee headquarters to the new Administration Centre.  Another system, which will re-create the images of 6 pairs of horses, will be installed at 6 welcome gates along Nguyen Van Linh Street.  In addition, some other main streets will have decorative lighting.

The floral displays and lighting decorations are expected to cost over 5 billion VND, the majority of which will be contributed by Viet Nam's Sun Group and the Trung Nam Group.
