During an inspection visit on Monday to the construction site of the new Da Nang Administration Centre, the municipal People’s Committee Chairman, Mr Van Huu Chien, urged the project’s installation contractors to complete their work as soon as possible.

Specifically he asked for the installation of the outer glass to be completed by late December, and the aesthetic lighting system outside the centre to be completed before Tet.  He also asked for the curtaining and interior decoration work to be finished as soon as possible.

The construction of an underground parking area is scheduled to start on 15 February 2014, and it needs to be in operation within 12 months.

Local relevant agencies were required to make detailed plans for ensuring security, fire fighting and fire prevention in the centre, as well as to proceed with acceptance work in accordance with the city’s regulations.

The Planning and Construction Institute was urged to complete its design work for the outer decorations of the centre’s national emblem, the logo of the city, and its name.
