According to the GreenViet Biodiversity Conservation Centre, a wide range of programmes will be implemented this year to raise awareness among Son Tra District’s primary pupils of the importance of protecting wild animals in the Son Tra Nature Reserve.

Over this year, the centre will focus on launching tours for the city’s primary pupils to give them the opportunity to discover the beauty of the Son Tra Peninsula, and its wild animals.

In addition, special attention will be paid to organising a number of photo exhibitions to present images of the peninsula’s red shanked douc langurs, as well as its biodiversity, to both domestic and international tourists. The purpose is to appeal to the whole community to join efforts to protect and preserve the city’s biodiversity.

Last year, the centre cooperated with numerous organisations at home and abroad in such aspects as publicity, education and scientific research.
