Da Nang has spent 5 billion VND decorating some of the city’s major streets with flowers and lighting systems for the Tet Festival. 

The floral displays and lighting decorations cost much less than that of last year.  However, the city’s Construction and Planning Institute and Green Trees-Park Company affirmed that this would not result in a lower quality of work.  The decorating company also promised that they would exert every effort to bring beauty and a refreshed face to the city. 

The institute will be responsible for the design of decorations in Le Van Duyet Park, the eastern side of the Rong (Dragon) Bridge, the western side of the Han River and Tran Thi Ly bridges, and some other locations.

So far, 80% of the display and decorations have been completed.
