Following a recent decision by the Da Nang authorities, 1,278.6 tonnes of rice will be distributed to local poor residents to help them to celebrate Tet.

In detail, 85,240 poor people living in the districts of Hai Chau, Thanh Khe, Cam Le, Lien Chieu, Son Tra, Ngu Hanh Son and HoaVang will receive 15kg each.

In addition, the city authorities will grant 600,000 VND to each displaced family affected by the city's development projects.
