Exterior features and traffic arrangements at new Administration Centre discussed
On Tuesday, the Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee (PC), Mr Van Huu Chien, along with some local leaders discussed adjustments to the exterior features of the new Administration Centre as well as to the traffic arrangements around it.
Chairman Chien remarked that a national emblem, along with a national flag and a flag of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, will be featured on the centre’s façade on Tran Phu Street. The city’s logo and the centre’s name will be installed on the centre’s façade on Ly Tu Trong Street. The 1,008-seater meeting hall will also have its stage expanded and some utilities added.

According to the Transport Engineering Consulting Company No 5 (TECCO5), the project’s consultants, parking lots will be created around the centre. The centre’s employees and visitors will park their cars and motorbikes in 2 basement parks at the centre itself, or at other parking areas nearby - the Thai Phien Club, the tennis courts on Bach Dang Street, and the courtyard of the municipal PC building at 42 Bach Dang Street. In addition, local relevant agencies have been asked to expedite the construction of new underground parking area on the southern side of the new centre, as well as to extend adjacent streets and create more parking spaces around the centre.
Once operational, the centre will welcome employees from 7 of the 22 local agencies, starting from July of this year.
