Over 95% of workers return to work
According to the Da Nang Labour Federation, over 95% of workers at local companies returned to work by 10 February following the Tet Festival. This is an increase of 20% compared with the same period last year.
The remaining workers, who are from remote localities across the country, were given some extra days off for Tet by their employers and have not yet returned to work.

Unlike local large-scale businesses, small ones are actively involved in recruiting new workers, mainly for temporary jobs. In particular, 33 local businesses offered about 700 job opportunities at a Jobs Fair which was held on Monday by the city’s Employment Service Centre. Available positions were mainly in security, reception, sales and other service sectors. As a result, about 300 job seekers have already been recruited.
