Two people died on the spot in a collision between a train and a motorbike in Da Nang at 11.24 pm on Wednesday. 

Witnesses said that the two were hit by the north-south SE7 train as their motorbike was crossing the railway track.

The victims were Vo Thanh Lieu and Vo Thi Thu Dong, both aged 22, from Quang Nam Province’s Phu Ninh District.  It is thought that the motorbike rider, Mr Lieu, was unaware of the approaching train.
