Da Nang, like many other regions in the country, is an area very vulnerable to the effects of  climate change.  Unpredictable and severe weather patterns have badly affected the locals, especially the youths.  In order to evoke awareness about the effects of climate change, The Youth Union of the Da Nang Foreign Affairs Department has produced a short, but very touching, film.  It was produced under the Youth Initiatives Project of the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network Programme, with financial support from the Rockefeller Foundation via Challenge to Change.

The 10-minute film is a fascinating and often heart-rending account from 2 youths.  It follows their transition from childhood to adulthood, and depicts how their lives, and those of their families, have already been dramatically affected by climate change.  You cannot fail to be moved.
