The “Da Nang Cruiser Icon” Design Contest was launched on 10 March and closed on 15 April.  The contest’s organisers received a total of 27 entries from organisations and individuals nationwide.  The ten best entries will be selected to go through to the final round of the contest, and the winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 30 April.

The contest aims to create a unique cruiser icon for Da Nang’s river tourism, as well as prepare for the building of the city’s new Marina complex.  Developed by the DHC-Marina Company, work on the new complex is scheduled to start on 25 April.
