Da Nang’s authorities have recently issued a decision to recognise the stone sculpturing at Non Nuoc village as one of the city’s traditional handicrafts.   The recognition was based on the criteria that the craft has a history longer than 50 years, and it creates unique products featuring the national cultural identity.  It also represents the work of more than one artisan, and the reputation of a traditional handicraft village.

Non Nuoc stone sculpturing will be granted a certificate of its recognition, and the craft will benefit from the city’s preferential policies regarding industrial promotion, craft and traditional handicraft village development, and other support policies in accordance with the city’s regulations.
