A group of Da Nang’s leaders, led by the Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, Mr Vo Cong Tri, recently visited and extended their greetings to the Fisheries Surveillance Team No 3 at the city’s Fisheries Surveillance Agency Zone 2.

Deputy Secretary Tri spoke highly of the team members and Viet Nam's law enforcement forces for their resilient spirit and great courage in safeguarding Viet Nam’s sovereignty.  He said he hopes that they will continue their efforts to force China to withdraw its drilling rig and vessels from Viet Nam’s territorial waters.  He affirmed that the city’s authorities and people will always give strong support to the forces to help them fulfil their tasks.

At the Congress of Hai Chau District’s Businesses over the 2014 - 2017 term, held in the city last Saturday, the district’s Entrepreneurs’Association gave 100 million VND to the Fisheries Surveillance Team No 3.  In addition, the association took the opportunity to appeal for the district’s businesses to raise money for the naval soldiers and residents in the Truong Sa Islands.  Also, the Vietstock and F319 stock forums donated 12 million VND in total to the force.  These donations are seen as a great encouragement for the soldiers who are on duty trying to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty over its sea and islands.
