The stage of the 2014 home-stay programme for Laos students was launched in Da Nang on Monday. 

Accordingly, 8 Laotian students studying at the University of Economics will live with 4 families in Khue My Ward from 19 May to 1 June.  During their 2-week stay, these students will have the opportunity to participate in daily activities with the families as well as get involved in various cultural exchange events with local residents.  This will help to deepen the traditional friendship and solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos.

The programme was launched by the Da Nang Union of Friendship Organisations, the city’s branch of the Viet Nam-Laos Friendship Association, the Consulate General of Lao People's Democratic Republic in the city, the University of Economics, and the authorities of Son Tra District’s Khue My Ward.
