In addition, 98% of the building’s air conditioning, telecommunications, information technology (IT) and Intelligent Building Management System (iBMS) security systems have been completed. However, other materials and terminal nodes of the IT and telecommunications networks have not yet arrived at the construction site.
Under the first stage of the operation, some of the city’s agencies and departments will move into the centre by 30 June. They are the departments of Construction, Transportation, Information and Communications, Planning and Investment, Home Affairs, Education and Training, and Agriculture and Rural Development. The city’s IPs and Export Processing Zones Authority will also move in. The centre will receive employees from the remaining local admistrative agencies by the end of the third quarter of this year.
In an effort to ensure traffic safety near the new Administration Centre once it is operational, vehicles will be banned from parking on nearby sections of Quang Trung, Tran Phu and Ly Tu Trong streets. Special attention will also be paid to upgrading the pavements of these streets.
