The PC46 Police Unit of Da Nang’s Police Department has recently sold 7 supercars which had been seized last October, and they raised around 10 billion VND from their sale.  The money will be contributed to the State budget.

The luxury cars had diplomatic or foreign registration plates which had expired.  Some of the owners of these vehicles had not provided the regulation papers, and some of the vehicles were registered with fake registration plates, making it difficult for the local police force to identify their owners.

The PC46 Police Unit have also temporarily seized another 8 supercars and about 100m³ of wood suspected of being imported illegally.  They have asked the local relevant agencies to deal with these cases as soon as possible.
