The Da Nang-based Air Force Division 372 has co-operated with the city’s branch of the Viet Nam Military Telecommunications Group (Viettel) to give gifts and provide free medical check-ups and medicines, worth over 100 million VND in total, to residents in Hoa Vang District.

The charity activities are a part of the “Armed Forces Unite for Community Health” programme which marks the 67th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (27 July).

Under the programme, over 500 local residents will receive free medical check-ups and medicines.  Gifts will also be given to 20 social policy families in the communes of Hoa Phong, Hoa Nhon and Hoa Ninh.  In addition, some essential medical equipment and devices will be donated to a healthcare establishment in the district.
