On Monday morning, representatives from the Da Nang Cong An (Police) Newspaper and the city-based Electronics and IT Company (Viettronimex) awarded gifts to three lucky readers of the newspaper.  They were winners of the “Reading the Da Nang Cong An Newspaper - Predicting the Results of the 2014 World Cup - Receiving Viettronimex Gifts” programme. 

The first prize of an Electrolux refrigerator, worth 6.9 million VND, went to Ms Ngo Thi Thanh Tuyen from Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward.  Ms Le Thi Thuong Hoai from the district’s My An Ward received the second prize of an LED Sharp television, valued at 6.4 million VND.  The third prize of a 1.5 million VND microwave oven was won by Mr Nguyen Duy Thanh from Quang Nam Province.

The programme, which ran from 6 June to 21 July, attracted over 5,000 entries.  250 of them accurately predicted the football results, so the 3 lucky winners were chosen at random by lucky draw.
