The Da Nang People's Committee has announced that employees of local agencies and departments, as well as those of political and social organisations, will officially have 4 days’ holiday from 30 August to 2 September for the 69^th anniversary of Viet Nam's National Day (2 September).  In return, employees are required to work on Saturday, 6 September as compensation.

Local agencies, businesses and family homes, as well as vessels anchored in the Han River, are all required to fly national flags on 2 September.
