According to the Da Nang Power Company, periodic power cuts will be required in some areas of the city between 7 and 12 August to allow for the replacement of a 110kV busbar system and equipment at the city’s 500kV transformer station.

The power cuts schedule is as follows:

7 August

4.30am - 1.30pm: Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An Ward, and the wards of An Hai Dong, An Hai Tay, An Hai Bac, Nai Hien Dong and Phuoc My in Son Tra District.  Lotte Mart, Nui Thanh and Phan Dang Luu streets, and the residential area near the Tran Thi Ly Bridge.

7.00am - noon: Residential areas on the western side of Ngu Hanh Son and Ngo Quyen streets, My An and An Hai Tay wards, and the Han River Swing Bridge.

8 August

7.30am - 12.30am: Hoa Lien and Hoa Bac communes in Hoa Vang District.

7.30am - 10.30am: Mieu Bong Village in Hoa Vang District.

7.30am - noon: Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Khanh Bac Ward.

7.30am - 11.00am: Quan Chau, Giang Dong and Duong Son villages in Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Chau Commune.

9 August

3.30am - midnight: Lien Chieu District’s Hoa Hiep Bac Ward, Cai Lang T-junction, Son Tra District’s Thuan Phuoc Ward, Ngu Hanh Son Disrict’s My An Ward, and Ha Huy Tap, Thai Thi Boi, Le Do, Phan Dinh Phung, Le Duan, Le Loi, Le Lai, Nguyen Du, Ly Thuong Kiet, Thieu Binh, Bach Dang, Nguyen Chi Thanh, Quang Trung, Ly Tu Trong, Tran Van Du and Tran Phu streets.

10 August

3.30am - 7.30pm: Nguyen Kim supermarket, and residential areas near the Tran Thi Ly Bridge and on the western sides of the Tuyen Son and Han bridges.  The wards of My An in Ngu Hanh Son District, Hoa An in Cam Le District, Hoa Minh in Lien Chieu District, and An Hai Tay, An Hai Bac, Nai Hien Dong, Man Thai and Tho Quang in Son Tra District.  Bach Dang, Nguyen Tri Phuong, Pham Van Nghi, Tran Tong, Nguyen Van Linh, Phan Thanh, Le Duan, Hoang Hoa Tham, Hai Phong, Vo Van Tan, Phan Thanh Liem, Nhat Hoang, Hai Thanh, Bac Dau, Le Van Xuan, Tuan Thinh, Van Thong, Tan Phuoc, Minh Nghia, Dai Phuc, Dang Thi Ca, Hai Duong Thinh, Thai An, Dai Thuan and Le Tuan Kha streets.

3.00am - 5.30pm: the eastern side of the Le Van Hien-Tran Dai Nghia section, the streets of Ho Xuan Huong, Nguyen Duy Trinh, Tran Van Du, Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc, Ho Nghinh, Le Van Thu, Nguyen Sang, Truong Dinh, Nguyen Phan Vinh and Pham Van Dong; Son Tra District’s An Hai Bac, An Hai Dong, Man Thai, Nai Hien Dong, Phuoc My and Tho Quang wards, and Ngu Hanh Son District’s My An, Khue My and Hoa Hai wards.

9.00am - 2.00pm:  Nai Hien Dong Ward in Son Tra District.
